The branch committee agreed to make three donations to charity this year on behalf of members. As part of our regular income and expenditure, the committee authorises donations when we have an expected surplus on our general expenditure.
The three charities that have been selected are listed below. We have made a £750 donation to each one.
There For You (UNISON Welfare)
Members experiencing financial and emotional difficulties can contact our welfare charity, There for You, which provides a confidential advice and support service for members and their dependants.
Mental Health Aberdeen
Mental Health Aberdeen is a local charity that provides free counselling and information services to children, young people and adults experiencing difficulties related to their mental health and wellbeing.

Rape Crisis Grampian (RCG) is a Charity, that provides support to people, over the age of 11 years, who have been subjected to sexual violence at any time in their lives.
